Abstract
This text is organized as an invitation to put disability in the head in the making of anthropology. Based on the bibliography on social markers of difference and intersectionality, the text is divided in two entries. In the first one, I present counter readings of basic procedures of the work with social markers of difference in anthropology, dialoguing with other theoretical-methodological “crippings” that have been proposed in the field of Disability Studies. Based on the understanding of disability as a difference, disputes about classification forms and operations are presented, with a focus on the Brazilian production. The second entry, as a short conclusion, consists of a working scheme with the notion of difference, highlighting some of its constitutive aspects.
