Tocqueville, Sarmiento and Alberdi: three visions on Democracy in Americas

This article analyses comparatively three important ideologists of different continents of XIXth, that studied the concept of Democracy in the liberal context. It explains concepts and propositions of most representative works of those thinkers, articulated to their political and ideological visions in the specific contexts in which they lived.
