ABSTRACT
The purpose of this article is to analyse the discursive production of the journal Fanfulla about the massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during the sultanate of Abdul Hamid II. The intention here is to verify the interests of the journal in the construction of these narratives in the news coverage in the period of 1894-1897, as well as its relation to Italian and English politics. The international trade of information between the Fanfulla and other journals established an articulating axis of this article.1 1 Tradução do texto para o inglês por Luiza Roy.
