ABSTRACT
Canoparmelia amazonica, C. [Crespoa] crozalsiana, C. cryptochlorophaea, C. [Parmelinella] salacinifera, and C. texana are registered for the Brazilian states of Maranhão and/or Tocantins. All these are new records in the region, except for C. salacinifera, already known for Maranhão State. All species are commented and C. martinicana, a new record for Brazil (Maranhão State), is described in detail and illustrated.
