ABSTRACT

The Pantanal is one of the largest floodplains in the world, located in the center of South America, representing an important center of biodiversity. In the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, we find the Estrada Parque do Pantanal (EPP), an area of touristic interest that crosses four sub-regions of the Pantanal, presenting a variety of environments. Among the botanical families present in the Pantanal, we find Lentibulariaceae, a family of aquatic carnivorous plants. Our objective was to describe Lentibulariaceae on Estrada Parque do Pantanal in Mato Grosso do Sul State and compile the species of the family present in the Pantanal. We carried out expeditions and gathered collection data from virtual databases available in the literature. In EPP we found four species belonging to the genus Utricularia and we list 22 species in two genera of Lentibulariaceae for the Pantanal, with three new occurrence record.
