This study presents a teaching experience of Social History in Nursing undergraduate courses. Specifically, it has the aim to show how cinematographic documentaries are a suitable tool to train human resources in the Social Sciences field and notably in Nursing. Documentaries allow nursing professionals to observe expectations and the collective imaginary of specific social groups, allowing to see and listen to direct participants. This contribution is used together with readings during classes and students experiences.
