The use of portfolios in university teaching: an experience in nursing courses

This paper describes the experience concerning the construction of a matrix to analyze portfolios developed by Nursing students, emphasizing the mutual and multiple learning that occurs in this process. One of the many challenges is to potentialize the use of portfolios, preventing it from presenting a subjectivism that hinders the dialogue established between professor and student, which must take into account the evidences that maintain the educational dimension of evaluation. The study systematizes principles that guarantee an innovative evaluation logic, constituting an education resource for teachers and learners, and contributing to the exercise of reflection on the material produced and compiled in the portfolio.
