These reach investigated four factors linked to social unsustainability in rural areas, food security, health, education and leisure. These settlement studied was located at the Padre Josimo Tavares, São José do Povo, MT. The results showed that food safety may be considered as favorable, although tend to be worsening with the age increasing of the interviewed. The other factors were more fragile, leading to consider that there were no conditions to sustainable developmental in the time analyzed.
