Education on Heritage in Facao, Mato Grosso: a proposal about heritage, identity, education and local development

Based on an analysis from an experience of Patrimonial Education carried out in the rural community of Facao, Caceres county in Mato Grosso, it is put forward a proposal of local development for the rural communities in Brazil. The proposal is based on a close link between the Cultural Patrimony and Local Identity, powered by a relevant educational process that acknowledges the peculiarities of each rural reality within a global context.
