The third sector actually, presents imprecise role, ranging from providing social services to the defense of civil rights, pushing, and supervising, both state and market. Thus, in an attempt to trace their profile was held an exploratory study of a quantitative nature, which sought to understanding reality of the third sector in the city of Londrina paying attention to: the year of foundation, area, human resources involved, financial resources, among others.
