The design of local development in the path of a Social Organization Third Sector in São Leopoldo, RS

This article aims to present the history of the concept of Local Development on the principles of political and pedagogical practices of a Third Sector organization, derived from research in archives and documents of the institutional arrangements of the past fourteen years. Concepts underlying educational practices, as well as the concept of local development with which we work will be addressed. The Workers' Circle Leopoldense (COL) Third Sector organization with 78 years of foundation, in 2011 set out to reflect on the concept of Local Development since 1998 is on the agenda of the institution and its raison d'etre since 2006 Through a process systematization of practices put the DL as the core theme. This process contributes to the affirmation of DL design and definition of next steps to be taken for an effective contribution to the Local Development
