Álvaro Nunes Larangeira

Post-doctorate in Journalism from the University of Coimbra. Holds a Master’s and a PhD Degree in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University, Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Tenured professor of the Graduate Program in Communication and Languages at the Tuiuti University of Paraná (PPGCom-UTP). Leader of the research group JOR XXI (UTP/CNPq) and co-director and organizer of the Journalism, Imaginary and Memory Research Network - Rede JIM. Author of the book A mídia e o regime militar (Sulina, 2014) and organizer of the works 1968: de maio a dezembro - Jornalismo, Imaginário e Memória (Sulina, 2018).
