Stereoselective synthesis of 2,3-unsaturated-O-Glycosides promoted by TeBr4The use of a catalytic amount of tellurium(IV) tetrabromide to promote the O-glycosylation of glycals to yield 2,3-unsaturated-O-glycosides is described. The desired compounds were obtained in good yields and high α-selectivity.
