O tecido quebradiço das ilusões: Nietzsche sobre a origem da arte e da linguagem

This article addresses two questions concerning Nietzsche's "Attempt at Self-Criticism": how are we to conceive of a joyful pessimist, who forgets with a laugh all "metaphysical comfort-taking"? And how are we to reconcile his ontological position - according to which there is no being, but only becoming - with his conception of the task of art? The author regards Nietzsche's conception of appearance (Schein) as an epistemological framework that places ontology and philosophy of art in the context of a conception of language leading Nietzsche to demand of philosophers that they create new values
