Temporal discourse markers and pronouns in the construction of narrative texts

The objective of this article is to analyze textual productions of sixth grade students from a Brazilian elementary school, verifying how they apply the categories of temporal discourse markers - adverbs and subordinating conjunctions - and of pronouns in the folk tale. The theories of Adam (2008) and Bronckart (2007) are the basis of this study, in which the latter complements the first one. The methodology used in the study is based on Schneuwly's and Dolz's proposal (2004). We could conclude with this research that the two categories and the guidance given by the teacher for the texts production in the classroom collaborate for the narrative text construction.
