Abstract
This article aims to analyse the way in which the media and the discourses that are formulated and circulate in it appear in the theoretical-analytical reflections proposed by Michel Pêcheux, in the theory of discourse analysis. Specifically, it considered two points: a) the way in which media discourses are mobilized in texts by Pêcheux and other researchers related to him, in their productions on the French scene, between the late 1960s and early 1980s; b) the way in which these reflections that permeate the Pecheutian work found resonance from the reterritorialization of discourse analysis in Brazil, resulting in analysis of diverse corpora and theorizations about the journalistic, advertising and digital discourse.
