Subject of teaching and power articulations: consensus of truth in Education

Abstract

Considering the theoretic and methodological principles from the French Discourse Analysis, this study aims to analyze the spaces of common agreement and the production of meaning effects of truth in Education through the way of essentiality and chaos. Therefore, this investigation is based on Foucault's studies (2005, 2006, 2007), as well as Pêcheux's (2008), proposing to analyze covers of the magazine Nova Escola through a discursive reading which considers the spaces reserved to the subjects of teaching - students and teachers - and the articulations of power-knowledge in the Media, regarding to the Brazilian education scenario. By considering the meaning and the discursive issues, this study is linked to the stage for the discussion which is, by its own turn, related to language matters and its work pointing to the construction of a real, through which remains the saying and the scene of what is said.
