Benjamin & Schmitt: an archeology of exception

Situated at opposed poles of the ideological and cultural life in the twenties and thirties of the last century. Walter Benjamin and Carl Schmitt are protagonists in a complex play of affinity and repulsion on the level of their basic conceptions, which are built around the theme of excess. The author proposes an hermeneutic of excess.
