Abstract
The article moves through some texts and films that deal with the question of reparation and memory in Argentina and Brazil, during dictatorship and post-dictatorship periods, understanding them as memory practices, that have a central role to play in the wider context of a collective work that needs to be done both in the symbolic and the legal plans.
