In the present paper, the pathologico-anatomical changes of spleen in drepanocytic anemia are described (Sickle-cell anemia). In the case history, a 12 years old negro boy is concerned, who died in consequence of a cerebral thrombophlebitis process and leptomeningitis. The disease had not been recognized during life, and only on examination of the histological sections of the spleen the diagnosis of drepanocytic anemia was made, as this organ presented changes which are peculiar of the disease.
