ABSTRACT
Changes in the organic composition of capital in the Brazilian banking sector were investigated, focusing on the accumulation and centralization process. Economic-financial reports from regulatory entities and research institutes were analyzed. The analysis shows that the capital in the sector has been rearticulated to dilute the limits to its expansion, mainly through changes in the work processes, allowed by technology.
