ABSTRACT
This article deals with the Black Experimental Theater of São Paulo experience. It’s a lesser known theater company than Black Experimental Theater of Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1944. My aim is analyzing its conception, goals, partnerships and anti-racist and anti-colonialist commitments, during 1945 and 1966 period. Newspapers archives and the bibliography on such issue were the main sources of analysis.
