Anthropic Indicators: Comparative Study for Sustainability in the Amazon

ABSTRACT

In contrast to the traditional view of anthropization as simple environmental degradation, Anthropic Indicators arise from the need to understand constructive or destructive human interventions. This study aims to present the Anthropic Indicators in their structure and application, corroborating their use in Amazonian communities. The results indicate strong human influence on the environment, highlighting the need for sustainable policies to balance human actions and preserve biodiversity.
