The territorialization of industrial poultry farming and integrated producers in Pires do Rio (GO)

Abstract

This paper aims to understand the territorialization of industrial poultry farming and the changes in the work of the poultry activity and the integration program of the agribusiness Nutriza Agroindustrial de Alimentos SA/Friato Alimentos, in Pires do Rio (GO). The study shows the reorganization of space from the implementation of the aforementioned agroindustry and the integration system as a lever for this production process, incorporated into new technologies and the reorganization of work. The new configurations of productive restructuring in poultry farming in the town were discussed, as well as the producer and agribusiness relations and the possibilities of restructuring this program for the integration of poultry producers. The methodological path of the research is qualitative, consisting of the following steps: theoretical, documental, and field research. Semi-structured interviews were carried out for data collection. The illustrations used in this paper were: photos and maps.
