The purpose of this article is to discuss the frailty of the organizational morality discourse in face of the power of major corporations and their predatory behaviour - both external and internal. We will take a critical approach, from macro to micro, to the analysis of points such as: a) the power of mega-corporations; b) the misbehaviour in HRM; c) moral harassment and organizational conditions in favor for its occurrence; d) humiliation in practice - a Brazilian survey; e) is business ethics just business? We hope to contribute to the reflection on the role played by mega-corporations in modern societies and to show that moral concerns are not part of their repertoire, except as discourse or management tool
