With the increase of international competition and the decrease of the governments role in society, new work relations emerge, acting on job offers and the very nature of employment contracts, on the required qualifications of the workers, and the growth of precarious conditions at work. The current level of unemployment and the unregistered workforce stands out in Brazil. With this thought, the objective was to detach the unemployment from the very place of work in the contemporary society, considering the specific conditions of democracy and the citizenship in Brazil. It is thought to be true, that the subjective categories: The single person, the individual, the one, the person, can also be included in this. It is intended to have new guidelines for the work-fact study, and as result, for the unemployment in the contemporary society.
