Poder disciplinar e gestão de pessoas: um estudo empírico em uma organização de desenvolvimento de software

We live, nowadays, the emergency of a new period, based on technological innovation and in knowledge production. As a result, we notice the reconfiguration of work relationships and of organizational mechanisms of conflict mediation. In that context, the elaboration of this article looks for to examine the disciplinary power dynamics manifested in human resource management politics in organizations. For so much, a theoretical framework was elaborated concerning the power relationships articulation and revealing the disciplinary character promoted by manpower administration; and an empiric study was developed to identify the disciplinary effect of human resource management politics adopted by a software development organization. We believe that the adopted focus favors the identification and the investigation of techniques and speeches developed in the organizational space in order to sustain power relationships.
