This paper is about the importance of entrepreneurial co-operation in Bahia taking into account the formation of networks as a landmark for collective action. It aims to understand their influence in the pattern of individual and collective action in the world of business for economic development. The networks in this research are different modalities of organizational arrangements, involving associations, trade unions or interest group associations and they materialize their role through different objectives. Their mode of operation is made of different levels of co-operation, focusing the promotion of interests for business, the economic sector or the productive chain and modernizing entrepreneurial activities; in addition, they promote renewed patterns of action based on compromise and associativism
