This work examines the amount of money that would be collected with the implementation of Tobin Tax-taxation on all the market operations at sigth that involve transactions in different currencies. It also proposes to eliminate famine in Brazil, calculating how much additionl income citzens would need to reach a minimum salary. The financial resources woul be obtained by adopting the Tobin tax and two other taxes existing in Brazil. The Federal Governemental Budget and States Budgets could also be used.
