This present study analyses practices of corporate social responsibility - CSR in fourteen bakeries that participate in the projects Bread, Education e Arts and Talents Brood. In addition, the objectives of the healthy study to analyze the proprietors of the participant bakeries of the two projects perception about the actions of CSR; to identify the strategies and practices of the fourteen bakeries in both projects; to analyse the motivational factors used by the bakeries to take part in both CSR projects; and to assess what these bakeries consider as the main CSR important working areas. On the basis of the findings it is possible to ascertain only a small impact of the CSR practices used on the objectives and strategies of the bakeries that participate into both projects, they use insignificant CSR practices which are seen as a mere attempt of CSR, that is their CSR practices emphasize social reaction by approaching one or more problem, trying to soften them or accomplishing mere social obligation.
