Abstract
While writing this text we had the objective of registering part of the history and experience of one of the most interesting and less disseminated aspects of the World Social Forum - The Youth Camp. We also included a theoret1cal contribution to reflect on what happened, we also pose some questions considering the future. The text is organized as a bricolage of narratives, perceptions and reflections. In some parts we review the theory, in others we make registers, in others we analyze, while leaving many questions without answer... The idea is that tl1ese parts, even if not fully articulated, provide some sense and provoke some conversation. The article presents, always briefly, a mix of concepts and approaches on self-management; the history of the camp's organization in each one of the three events, considering mainly the proposal and organization of the City of Cities' management; following there is an item with critical reflections and open questions posed by the narrative and considering the perspective of the continuity of the experimentation process on the development of alternative practices of (organization and space) management - coherent with the possibilities of a new world.
