The phenomenon of enterprisation and the search for alternatives in the production, commercialization and distribution of music in Brazil as forms of resistance

The aim of this paper is to discuss new forms of production, commercialization and distribution of music as possibilities of resistance to hegemonic practices traditionally used by major labels, through the presentation of some cases in the Brazilian music industry. The crisis that the music industry has been facing since the late 90's and which is closely linked to changes in the nature of technology has made new alternatives possible to produce and commercialize the music.. Examples of music-related organizations that offer some degree of resistance to the dominant structural model understood by the authors as organizations of resistance, are presented and analyzed. The conclusion is that the organizational forms exemplified present specific structural features, which allow us to consider them as forms of resistance to the business model of organization.
