This study aims to reflect about some aspects of Clinical Psychology: its historical constitution, the subliminal conceptions of mankind and the episthemologycal assumptions found in the academic teaching of Clinical Psychology. In order to achieve such aim the courses programs of the so called Clinical Psychology Subjects of one university ( undergraduation level) in the south of the country were analysed. The method was Content Analysis Method (Bardin, 1988). The conclusion points out distortions and limitations in the Clinical Psychology field together with classical conceptions of it.
