ABSTRACT
Permeated by a conjuncture that includes human relations, artificial intelligence systems and socio-digital platforms, the various ways of producing, sharing and accessing information in contemporary times are marked by an ambience of power and politics which, as a strategic resource, sustains socio-cultural contexts and modes of governance mediated by disinformation. In view of this, this theoretical and descriptive study was designed with the aim of presenting the main elements that, based on the theoretical interface that connects the concepts of disinformation and the information regime, make up what would be a disinformation regime. From an epistemological point of view, this study offers a new look at this concept that has been presented with evidence, especially in Information Science: the information regime, in an attempt to adapt it to a social environment in which disinformation operates in the transformation of structures and notions established over time.
