The Information Literacy is an issue that has been increasing in recent years, given its relevance to society, which uses the information in a significant way in the production of goods and services. Being information literate means developing a set of skills for the efficient use of information resources, the lifelong learning and critical thinking, thus aiming at the conquest of autonomy for the solution of problems, issues and information opportunities. To be fully developed, the Information Literacy needs to be based on four dimensions: Technique, Aesthetics, Ethics and Policy, keeping the balance between them. This work emphasizes the Aesthetic Dimension of the Information Literacy: theme still unclear with regard to its study and application in Information Science. This dimension is that which relates to the sensitivity and creativity. So relate the aesthetic to the Information Literacy is reflected in building a balanced society, generous and transformative, since the aesthetic ideas are ultimately ideas of human liberty, there being included emotions through the imagination, which enables people to find properties as charming, balance, harmony and rhythm.
