The purpose of this study is to explore the actions of psychological professionals with regard to integrating the religiousness/spirituality into the therapeutic context. Qualitative methodology was used with 10 clinical psychologists, all having over ten years of experience in this activity from different theoretical approaches. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, and the data was processed by analyzing categorical thematic content. The results showed that, to achieve therapeutic goals, the professionals used the clients/patients' religiousness/spirituality, such as therapeutic strategies for working in the mentioned thematic framework {as well as therapeutic resources that were not necessarily related to the religiousness/spirituality theme.
