Open-access Evaluation of the personality: characteristics of professional and amateur goalkeepers

During the last decades, the transformation in the paradigms caused mainly by the technological input in several areas, including professional environments, resulted in a new understanding by individuals. This article is the result of a research to accomplish an ethnographic study of the everyday life of the firefighters who work at the Rio do Sul fire station in Santa Catarina, and comprehends the meaning these workers give their jobs using new technologies in their work environment. Qualitative methods such as daily ethnography, participant observation and individual interviews were used. Thereby understanding the level of significance established by the firefighters created speech significance groups. As a final conclusion, firefighters agreed the new technologies are their allied and help to make their job easier.
