Os programas de redução de danos como espaços de exercício da cidadania dos usuários de drogas

This work presents the possibility of recognizing damage reduction programs as spaces for the exercising of drug users’ citizenship. The author has two main objectives: convince the reader, through a historic review, of the insufficiency of existing treatments in pointing effective solutions for drug use and abuse; and present the damage reduction programs as a different alternative for this problem, offering to the user a space in the reconstruction of his place as a citizen.

Drug use; Damage reduction; Citizenship
