The general results indicated that before the acupuncture treatment 60% of the volunteers were in the resistance phase of stress, and the demand intensity average was 8,1, considering a scale from 1 to 10. After the treatment, the stress presence was significantly reduced (p<0,001), as the stress level (p=0,006), the symptoms predominance (p=0,02), and the demand intensity (p<0,001). As the acupuncture treatment reduced significantly the stress symptoms presence, it’s possible to conclude its effectiveness in this sample.
