This work states the idea that creativity is an ability that allows individuais to reach better levels of education, mental health and well-being. Several findings on creativity research including students of different schools and levels, show a lack of creativity planning in the curriculum. They also show the variable behavior in basic, medium and higher education. From a sample of 1,300 students, in all research stages, and a graphic creativity tool created exprofeso, it has been concluded that: a) students are found to have less creativity when they leave university; b) increasement in creativity is related to practice and design; c) fluency and flexibility have a large weight in the creativity increase at basic and medium levels; d) creativity is not correlated to an artistic personality trend; and e) creativity levels are similar in basic, medium and higher education.
