Abstract
This paper discusses Brecht's various experiences with cinema, which included the elaboration of numerous non-filmed screenplays and scripts and his participation in the making of films such as Kuhle Wampe and Hangmen also die. The presentation and analysis of such experiences provides us with a deeper understanding of Brecht's work and ideas, as well as with reflections on the cinematographic medium.
