Reflections on the distinction between love and sexuality in Freud's first topic

This article discusses the notions of love and sexuality in the first topic, attempting to demonstrate Freud's drawbacks in distinguishing such notions metapsychologically. Considering that Freud did not establish a sufficient theoretical criterion to make this distinction, we propose to consider love and sexuality based on Wittgenstein's terminology, as two different language games, linking these notions to the traditional categories of feeling and sensation.
