Contemporary society has developed a conception about childhood, instituted both by the modern State and developmental psychology theories in which the child is seen as a ‘not yet’. This childhood moratorium sends the child to a place of object in a macro-social process oriented to a future ideal society. In the last few years, there has been a concern with the participation of children in psychosocial programs and interventions. The implementation of this participation implies in a different conceptualization of childhood, in which children are potentialized as agents of institutionalization and transformation of the society in which they live.
