Art and creativity are subjects that have risen the interest of many researchers from different theoretical and methodological approaches, as well as branches of knowledge ment. Aiming to contribute to this debate, the goal of this paper is to analyze the process of creation/innovation in a specific activity: weaving the Bilro lace. The analysis here presented points out to the insertion movement of a subject in the weaving activity at the Santa Catarina Island. This was possible to be made through the words of the researched individual. By studying the theoretical principles of the Sociocultural Psychology, some aspects that make the subject unique were the focused on the analysis, specially those related to the creative movement in the activity.
