This paper comments on a strategy for analyzing location and dispersion effects in unreplicated factorial experiments, concentrating especially on methods for identifying dispersion effects. The strategy is adapted for designs of experiments with few replications. An example is presented. Other methods for replicated experiments are applied in the example and the results found were very similar.
