ABSTRACT
This work aimed to investigate the relationships of a group of young people living in suburb regions of a city in the interior of Minas Gerais with social places, based on the meanings and experiences in the home and city environments, in dialogue with the theoretical framework of psychodrama. The methodologies used were experience report of a sociodrama performed before the COVID-19 pandemic and, subsequently, semi-structured interviews analyzed by grounded theory methodology. The occupation of community places in a creative way, the extension of solidarity relationships in the neighborhood, the square as a space of diversity and also of repression were the research findings. Psychodrama can contribute as a significant tool for the analysis of social and spatial contexts in dialogue with subjective processes in a critical way, reaffirming its social commitment and the right to the city.
