This article approached the "Perceptions of the Suffering Psychic in the work of Patativa of Assaré" as a research from transdisciplinary perspective, which we developed an investigation in the sense of verifying which common characteristics can be considered as cultural identity from Ceará and can be found expressed in manifestations of popular poetry. The study of the identity values and identifications, related to the sense of existent territoriality in the individuals, served as situation to delimit a context where psychic processes happen and that mark these individuals' life. The work of Patativa of Assaré and his own individual existence served as parameter for the verification of the concepts elaborated along the study. It was possible to establish relations among the meaning of being from Ceará defining some of the aspects of cultural identifications possible to be articulated through psychic processes.
