This article highlighted the necessity, the opportunity and the possibility that the production of theoretical-conceptual and methodological research already developed in social psychological science, particularly the social community, based on historical-dialectical materialism, were explored in its potentiality to guide the psychologist performance within SUAS/CRAS. The research was first conducted due to recent achievement of the institutional acting of the psychologist in the SUAS/CRAS and because we have just a few specific theoretical-methodological references for acting in this field. This study aimed to relate psychology to SUAS/CRAS through concepts of Social Community Psychology, pointing an acting model to grant autonomy to individuals.
