Abstract
Our purpose in this article is to demonstrate that the act of telling stories is never innocent. By means of it homogeneous identities have been legitimated throughout the centuries and the maintenance of a monocultural perspective is often associated to the reading practices. We intend to propose the utilization of this tool to help us with the dismantling of hierarchizing identitary processes. Based on a multicultural perspective we believe that this device enables the opening for the in-between place and its occupation by those who, living on the margins, are excluded from the processes that often move the universes of different fields of action.
