This article proposes to study the clinical practices carried out by 'psy' professionals in the Psychosocial Attention Centers of Mental Health, discussing on how much these practices are taking place in order to enhance the process of Brazilian psychiatric reform, enabling this way a qualification of the professionals working in the mental health system from the instigation of what is going on when thinking about the daily work related on these centers. This study was methodologically based on intervention-research, and explored the possibilities of critical and creative practices operated in the mental health network, denaturalizing some of the hospitalocentric running model legacy of hospitalization and exclusion. Key issues were mapped in situations considered critical to the daily work of that group. Three analytical categories emerged: Management model, Team relationship and Clinical Practice, which are specially focused in this paper. Five aspects of guiding practice, which are operated in CAPS, are analyzed.
